BCSO Deputy recognized for professionalism during a "man with a gun" incident.
On April 11, 2012 Deputy Eisenmenger along with City of Martin
Police Assistant Chief Casey Cummings and Officer Vincent Pilcher were
recognized for their heroism at a Martin City council meeting in reference to a
March 24th, 2012 incident at the American Legion Bar in Martin, SD.
Deputy Eisenmenger and MPD officers responded to the call of a male
brandishing a loaded handgun at patrons and making terrorist threats.
The suspect was taken into custody on scene a short while later. All
other patrons were safely escorted from the bar by law
enforcement.
